The only thing I would say about the penalty kicks is that one was given by the referee, the other by the linesman. If they just tell us when the linesman takes over the authority from the referee, we’ll understand it better.

Today, I came up with the best idea ever.
So, here’s a bit of a backstory: I currently live with my grandma, and she makes a huge deal that I go to church with her on Sundays. I wouldn’t mind but, let’s just say, the people who attend her church, as well as, the subject matter are not my cup of tea. It is what it is, I guess!
Today was the first time I went to church in MONTHS, and, every once in awhile, I’ll pay offering because I’ll feel guilted into doing it or because I feel like I need to support the financially teetering church. It’s usually not much because why would I want to support a group I don’t agree with?
Anyway, today I contemplated paying offering, but then I thought, why not take the money I’d pay the church and use it toward something I actually believe in?
So, I took $20 and broke it up between two organizations today—Planned Parenthood and 34 Million Friends.
The other day, when the government decided it wanted to stop funding PP, I was outraged. I’m currently reading this book called Half the Sky, which talks about female rights and oppression internationally. The book discusses the importance of educating the public about safe sex because, let’s face it, you can stop people from doing it, so let’s try and contain certain diseases while teaching abstinence.
Anyway, this is my way of fighting for my beliefs, trying to make a positive impact on our global community, and also stabbing the government in the back (and possibly definitely the morals of Christianity). Go me!
